◇表現
【be supposed to～】
「～することになっている、～するはず」ビジネスでは非常に使える場面が多い表現です。

【It’s already five o’clock, and we haven’t received anything yet. 】
and でつなげず but でも、もちろんよい。but だとニュートラルに事実を述べているニュアンス。
and だと「もう５時である」という事実を強調して「それにもかかわらず」と感情のこもったニュアンスになる。
例：It's 7:00 pm, and I'm still working.７時にもなっているのに、まだ働いてる。
He's Japanese, and he's never eaten sushi! 日本人だというのに寿司を食べたことがないんだ！

【out of town】
字義通りには「街にいない」ですが、出張中の意味で使うことも多い表現です。

【expect】
（～を当然のこととして）要求する、求める→「いつ返事を期待できるのか？」「返事を要求して当然だろ！」というプレッシャーを与えるニュアンスになります。
